Thorsten Gusek / Managing Partner

Thorsten Gusek founded energiewaechter GmbH together with Meike Wächter and is one of the managing partners. He supports the project team with his industry know-how and experience in project management. Thorsten brings his passion for information technologies to energiewaechter in order to promote digitalization in all areas of the company. In addition, he and the entire team are constantly working on the company's development in order to constantly improve the existing range of services and to develop new ones. He is the direct contact for new customers.

Before he joined energiewaechter in mid-2010, he worked as a freelance consultant, advising an energy supplier on its entry into the PV market. He gained further professional experience as a consultant and project manager in the organisation and implementation of industry events in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. He advised companies from the PV industry on their entry into European markets and identified market potential and entry opportunities in the field of renewable energies for international clients.

Thorsten has been fascinated by renewable energies since his childhood and school days on the North Sea coast, where wind power was part of everyday life from an early age. During his studies in Göttingen, he decided to get involved professionally in the still comparatively young technologies and industries. At the beginning of 2006 he completed his business studies with an analysis of the market for large-scale PV systems in Germany.
